Choosing the calibrator to transfer solutions if selfcal fails

Hello. I'm wondering if it's possible to include a flexible option to chose from which direction the solutions are transfer for a direction that fails in selfcal. Currently, this is set to use the closest one, but I do remember that with he original scripts sometimes a brighter direction that is not necessarily the closest one worked better.
