Linux Mint Mate 19.2 electron apps not visible on application menu

I did update to the new version of Linux Mint a week ago and it seems like if you install a new electron-framework based application it will not be shown in the application menu right away.

After restarting the computer once the application is listed correctly. I did check the folder where the .desktop files are stored and everything is looking fine even before the restart so I think something with the menu refresh is not working correctly.
