Option for including empty directories

I've just noticed that mintBackup doesn't actually back up any empty directories?

I have a huge directory tree (around 50k) with most of the directories being empty for now. They will be filled with data at a later point. However it is very important that I don't actually lose the overall directory structure and the work of laying it all out.
