Hi damikael the app is unable to connect to my nextcloud server.
I keep getting (Error connection. please check parameters.)

I have setup https and also have sync apps connected thru https. Not sure if I am missing something.

Hi @Juvenciodas, is your https certificate self signed? Cloud Gallery can not work with self signed certificate. In that case we advice to setup a let's encrypt certificate.

I’m having the same problem connecting to my Nextcloud server. I have a valid certificate from Let’s Encrypt. My installation gets an A+ from SSL Labs (https://www.ssllabs.com/ssltest/analyze.html?d=nextcloud.pigsn.space&hideResults=on).

I’ve verified the server address, username, and app-password.

Hello @ssjw,

Thanks

Hi @damikael,

I’ve created a user for your testing. Do you have a Signal account I can send the password to you over?

I’m still working on the infrastructure, so the instance may be down periodically. Let me know if that happens and I’ll bring it back up.

Thanks,
Jonathan

Whats the status of this isse? I do have the same problem using a valid and signed CAcert SSL certificate. What about an option to validate and accept self singed certificates?

Hi @Evil2000,
can you send me a test account credentials to helpdesk AT linfaservice.it so I can check the issue.

Thanks

It seems that only adding the CAcert root certificate to the android SYSTEM certificates (as described here: http://wiki.cacert.org/FAQ/ImportRootCert) fixes the issue. Just using the USER certificates is not enough.

@damikael
Hello. Do you still support your project?
Will the Bug still be fixed?
I think the CAcert root add to the System certificates isn't a solution, because you must root the Android System.
I would be happy if I got an answer.
Thank you.
