DeSmuME core saves data to roms directory not saves other cores save data in correct saves folder

Expected behavior

save data in correct saves folder (which is in configuration correctly chosen

Actual behavior

saves data when saving the game (ace attorney) to the roms folder

Steps to reproduce the bug

  1. install retroarch
  2. create roms folder
  3. configure retroarch to take roms from roms folder
  4. launch game using DeSmuMe core (I teste ace attorney)
  5. save game

Version/Commit

  • RetroArch: 1.19.1

Environment information

  • OS: ios 17.5.1
  • iPhone 15 Pro

Core issues do not belong in this repo, and also can't reproduce. Saves go where they should according to settings. Used platform should play no role whatsoever.

Also there is no "take roms from roms folder" setting, because it is redundant, but there is a setting that writes saves to content dir, and it is not enabled by default. Log will tell the directories being used.
