Engage in the problem’s conversation and the broader interdisciplinary research community discussion
Shamelessly ask questions of the other field (jargon/techniques/methodologies) “True knowledge exists in knowing that you know nothing”
Respectfully answer questions, reserving judgment
Attend workshops/conferences/hackathons/meetups outside your field
Go to workshops specifically targeting DS+X collaboration such as the Lemon Labs!
