Use of 'deprecated' in PROGRESS routines #240

There are various instances of call to functions with names ending with "deprecatded". See for instance:

qmd-progress/src/prg_sp2_mod.F90

Line 183 in a1dd863

call bml_add_deprecated(0.50_dp, aux_bml, -1.00_dp, rho_bml, threshold)

It is confusing to me. Should they be replaced by other (newer) functions?
