Description

To detect changes of KIM's overall performance (e.g. caused by software bugs, changing resource consumption etc.), we have to run the load and performance tests for KIM regularly.

Based on the learning from #14, we will trigger the load and performance test at least once a week to measure regularly KIMs behaviour under load and to detect performance tendencies in time.

AC:

  • Load and performance tests are executed automatically at least once a week as part of our CI-CD setup
  • Metrics of KIM are measured and tracked in a Plutono dashboard.
    • It is possible to review and compare the results of the load test executions over the last 2 weeks
  • Framefrog team gets notified about the latest results of the performance run (e.g. via Slack or email with a link to the Plutono Dashboard)

Reasons

Detect changes of KIM performance profile during development cycles.
