Hi there, amazing progress you've made! I would love to be able to interact with my 4 zone Trane Comfortlink II communicating system with Home Assistant. My apologies if captured somewhere in your documentation how I could best help you with your goals for this project?
My goal is to use conventional thermostats (better wife happiness factor) then convert their conventional wiring with something like ESPhome hardware to fake out (replace) the communicating thermostats.

I would be happy to use my system to trace and record the signaling / protocols. Would that be helpful or what could I do to use your progress thus far as a springboard for further development? I am fairly knowledgeable about HVAC, electronics, and software although I'll admit I'm not a github guru! I can give you my email if appropriate.

not involved with this project directly but I also have access to a Trane ComfortLink II system that I want to connect to HomeAssistant. At this point I'm just gathering everything I can about my system to see what the best path forward is so I have a pretty broad sense of what's going on and several ideas (all a bit janky) for how to approach this, but nothing really actionable yet.

I'd love to look at any information/signal captures you are able to gather about comfort control (the proprietary trane communicating protocol you referenced) to help get a clearer picture of what is possible there as I'm less of an HVAC person and don't have easy access to the equipment needed to record such a capture.
