Introduction

As you've probably guessed, kindlepdfviewer(often abbreviated as kpv), is a document viewer for the Kindle. Not just for PDFs but also DjVu, XPS, CBZ, FB2, TXT, HTML, RTF, CHM, EPUB, DOC, MOBI, and ZIP files. The initial kindlepdfviewer was built by hawhill based on the mupdf source. Since then it has come a long way, based on requests and updates by hawhill, dpavlin, NuPogodi, trigan, chrox, kai, traycold, houqp and others on the mobileread forums.

Usage

After the installation and with kpv launched, you will see your files in a file browser, Press h to see what you can do and how to do in this mode.

Once you opened a book, you can press h again to see the feature and keys in book reading mode. There are several different book reading mode, so the feature and keys varies too:

1. Epub, mobi etc is opened based on crengine.

2. PDF/DjVu is opened with pdf viewer.

3. PDF/DjVu can also be opened with reflow mode, you can select the opening mode for each pdf/djvu book or the default mode for all pdf/djvu.
