Often I only install an app, which I do not use, simply because I want to be notified of updates,
either because I know, I will use that app, if a certain feature becomes available, or
I just want to follow the release progress of an app, e.g. because of a simple interest or even because I am somehow ‘responsible’ for another phone and want to push their owner to update an existing app.
I know, there are always other ways to track the release of apps, either by subscribing to the release notification at github etc. or having a program/add-on checking for changes of a webpage. All of that is by far not as nifty, as having it done in Foxy Droid!
