Now with the Rust agent moving closer to a first release we should also create a package for Debian/Ubuntu.

@utkarsh2102 have you packaged Rust programs before?

Not really but I've seen how a few things here and there. But hey, there's a dedicated Rust team in Debian: https://wiki.debian.org/Teams/RustPackaging. I know some people there who can help, too. But the initial bits will mostly be on us, of course. :)

We (Lernstick) is currently using cargo deb. The last time I tried to build a source package, there were many dependencies not yet packaged.

This is still an issue, but probably requires someone with more knowledge on packaging rust in Debian to complete it.
