Zoom property in css gives warning

I get this in the firefox devtools console:

This page uses the non standard property “zoom”.
Consider using calc() in the relevant property values, or using “transform” along with “transform-origin: 0 0”.

I tracked it down to a number of uses of zoom: 1 here.

I'm ignoring this warning but wonder if that's wise. Does it work for all modern browsers?
