The README should include a blurb about how to set up dashboard template variables when using a KairosDB datasource for variable values. The available functions are datasource type specific.

The 3 options are:

  • metrics(metric_name_search_substring)
  • tag_names(metric_name)
  • tag_values(metric_name, tag_name)
