Description

I think it should be possible to calculate confidence intervals for RM ANOVA effect sizes (e.g. partial eta squared). For post-hoc tests, this option exists and confidence intervals for Cohen's d are calculated. For the effect sizes of the RM ANOVA itself, however, no such possibility exists in JASP.

Purpose

Reliably report effect sizes with confidence intervals, as this is increasingly requested by journals

ANOVA

Describe the solution you would like

A simple checkbox to calculate the confidence intervals should suffice, similar to the solution currently implemented in post-hoc tests.

Hi @maximusmontis ,

Which version of JASP are you using? They should be included in 0.19. For RM ANOVA not, because it's not as straightforward to compute these. We are thinking about how to tackle this issue with bootstrapping though, but this is only for a future release.

Cheers
Johnny

Hi @JohnnyDoorn ,

I am using version 0.19.1, but I am calculating an RM ANOVA. This explains it, thank you!
