What analysis are you seeing the problem on?

Bayesian One-Way ANOVA

What OS are you seeing the problem on?

Windows 10

Bug Description

On both 0.19.0 and 0.19.1, I get the following error when I try to conduct a Bayesian one way ANOVA: "The following error occured in BayesFactor::enumerateGeneralModels: package 'BayesFactor' was installed before R 4.0.0: please re-install it."
I get similar results when I try to do a Bayesian t-test.
I have tried this with multiple data sets, including a very simple one for testing purposes.

Expected Behaviour

Past versions ran the analyses as expected.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Try to conduct a Bayesian test of any kind. The instant you load in a variable and it tries to calculate anything, it gives the error.

Hi @AlanMDaniel,

Thanks for your report - could you please try this with 0.19.1? This hotfix possibly has solved this issue.

Update, I just downloaded using the preinstalled zip file and the issue goes away. Does this mean there is something that is not getting updated when I use the installer package?

Ah, great, hopefully that is also valuable information for the devs =)
