Hola Jakarta EE EF Team,

With reference to the ticket below, please help us process the contribution to the JakartaONE community - thank you!

The slides have been delivered to the JakartaONEEspañol Community this AM.
Ideally, they are also delivered by those who volunteered in the making of JakartaONE English. :)

Hi @chrisguindon
JakartaONE Speaker Slides is a template that can be used by speakers to create their presentation.
We think the presentation can be added to the main documentation of JakartaOne.

Maybe below the section ORGANIZING REGIONAL JAKARTAONE LIVESTREAMS EVENTS, we can add a new section like:

JAKARTAONE SPEAKER SLIDES TEMPLATE
Are you giving a session on JakartaONE? If so you can use our speaker presentation template.

And a button to download the presentation.

My apologies :)

@TanjaObradovic can you approve this request we implement it?

In the future, we might want to add a resources page to the main site section (outside of the events). This way we can maintain multiple resources for the site, like guides for requesting an event, this document, speaker guide to using Crowdcast, and links to some useful software (stuff like OBS), along with links to setup guides.

Hola Martin & Chris, hugs from home :)

Eudris-- thank you for interjecting to explain the ticket, you ROCK!

It would be wonderful for the JakartaONE Website to have a Resources page similar to the MicroProfile Branding Resources. We could call that tab Speakers' Resources or similar.
Note that for MP page, we have done a "favorite bookmarks" to help navigate the page. NOW, MP has many speaker sessions, we need to choose a few and import them :) a great problem to have.

Clearly, we can feed the data to populate the page, Jakarta EE Trademarks need to be decompose to make the page ok.
Ideally, the page gets duplicated for the main Jakarta EE webpage. You know me. If we do something for 1 place, it likely helps other spaces within the project. Scaling so that knowleddge and support gets protected without forgetting stuff.

Stay safe and awesome. Thank you!

All: sorry for the delay in responding!
For each of the regional or language specific virtual conference we have a folder in the Community Folder -> JakartaOne Livestream - Spanish
https://drive.google.com/drive/u/0/folders/1sRSywb22ioT98uRVKK0sBU8MiMWzFY_n
I believe we can us that folder for the template presentation. I am not sure we need to put the link on the website, particularly now that the conference is done. If the community decides to organize the conference again next year, we may want to update the template, and ensure the Program Committee provides the template to speakers a few weeks prior the event.

@TanjaObradovic I could see the use in having this content live outside of Google drive eventually. These sample slides can be downloaded and played with as part of a team members' pitch to host a community event to managers before reaching out to us. Sample slide templates for different events could be listed under a list as an example (keeping at the most latest year as an example). It keeps our resources open but still managed by us in the end.

I imagine this could be managed at a base level for all events, managed like the https://jakarta.ee/resources/ page. Maybe as a middle step while we talk about this, we could make a resources page that has a blurb saying to reach out via an email or issue to receive access?

@TanjaObradovic Is there anything for us to do here or can we close this issue?
