I have trouble getting the template to work properly in the February release. Not only does it not work, the the whole table disappears completely when adding the external file.
It works fine in desktop feb 2019 but not in entreprise.
Any ideas of what has gone wrong?

Have you checked that your template.csv is there, in the right path?
The enterprise version allocates de extensions in a different folder:
Desktop version path : C:\Users\user_name\Documents\Qlik\Sense\Extensions\PLSmartPivot
Server version path : C:\Share\StaticContent\Extensions\PLSmartPivot (or wherever your shared folder is)
Copy and paste your csv templates in the new path is not enough, you need to include your templates in the extension, zip it again, and reimport the extension.
Have you tried to click F12 en see the error messages in the browser console?
