Current Behaviour

When connecting controllers. Minecraft freezes for a minute or two before resuming.

Expected Behaviour

I would expect the connection to register after a few seconds not minutes.

Screenshots

Reproduction Steps

  1. Load into Minecraft (main menu, world, doesn't matter)
  2. Connect controller
  3. Wait 1-2 minutes for controller
  4. (Issue repeats if connecting to a different source e.g. going from bluetooth to wired connection)

What launcher are you using, if you're using Prism, it'd be beneficial to video the live logs coming in to see where it's getting stuck at, failing that a latest.log would be great.

Hi. Took a mini MC break but back now :D.

When I reported the issue I was using Modrinth, however I have moved to Prism and I am experiencing the same thing.

Have attached the latest video log (assuming I used the right one).

Also copied the latest log
