i believe that the readme can be improved so that it better explains how to install dependencies and get setup, as well as offering platform specific instructions for various steps and offering a clearer distinction between what a developer needs to do and what an end user needs to do

#119 has been created as an example. With the acceptance of #107 I could offer an example of how to install the project with an IDE, offering an easy default
