Integrating twitter bootstrap.

I see there are themes which uses twitter bootstrap for octopress, but I do not really am looking to change my theme and just want to use the bootstrap theme in a particular blog or post. Is it possible to do it with markdown, I tried putting some HTML code in the markdown file, which rendered correctly, but the css part of the file didn't work. Please suggest.
