On this page you can see a list of supported sites and their limitations.

YouTube

It is the main supported website and has some additional features of its own.

Status: [✅] Working

Available (sub)domains:

  1. www.youtube.com
  2. m.youtube.com
  3. www.youtube-nocookie.com
  4. www.youtubekids.com

Available paths:

  1. /watch
  2. /embed
  3. /?v=VIDEO_ID

Additional functions:

  1. Sync the video volume with the translation volume
  2. Prohibition of video translation from the native language

Limitations:

  1. Shorts are not supported (/shorts)
  2. Does not work in video preview

Twitch

Status: [✅] Working

Available (sub)domains:

Available paths:

Status: [✅] Working

  3. /video_ext.php?oid=VIDEO_ID_PART_ONE&id=VIDEO_ID_PART_TWO (used for embedded videos)

Limitations:

  1. When switching to the next video, you may need to double-click on the button
  2. Translation of videos embedded in conversations, feed or profile/group wall is not available
  3. Translation is not available on the mobile version of the site (you need to use the PC mode)
  4. VK Clips translation is unavailable

Twitter

Limitations:

  1. To work, you need to set Access Token.
  2. To work, you need to be logged into a Udemy account.
  3. If the course does not have subtitles in your language, the translation will not be performed.

Status: [✅] Working

  1. Reload the page before translating the video, otherwise you risk translating one of the old videos you watched. I haven't found a way to fix it.

Yandex Disk

Status: [⚠️] Works with limitations

Limitations:

  1. To work, you need to change the option "Add TM to CSP security policy" to "Yes" (Tampermonkey -> Settings -> Configuration mode: "Experienced" -> Add TM to CSP Security Policy: "Yes")
  2. It only works with public links
