A tool to tail Graylog logs in "real-time" using the Graylog REST API.
Note: This project is no longer actively developed.
gtail
gtail --list-streams
gtail --stream stream-id
gtail --stream stream-id-1 stream-id-2
gtail --query "some query here"
This uses Graylog's search mechanism, so you can use field: value
syntax.
gtail --fields "message,some_field,another_field"
gtail --stream nile --query crocodile
gtail --help
(Optional) virtualenv setup:
virtualenv env
. env/bin/activate
Install:
pip install git+git://github.com/bvargo/gtail.git
or
python setup.py build
sudo python setup.py install
Put the following configuration file in ~/.gtail
, modifying the settings as
appropriate.
