Reason

An example on reliability analysis of a beam would demonstrate MASTODON's capabilities to perform Uncertainty Quantification using Markov Chain Monte Carlo algorithms.

Design

An example will be created to estimate the small failure probability of a beam with uncertain material properties using Adaptive Importance Sampling.

Impact

This example will demonstrate MASTODON's integration with the MOOSE Stochastic Tools Module and its ability to perform efficient UQ for structural engineering problems.
