Issue

Item images are automatically uploaded to Cloud when user uploads an image in order to get a preview. However, this creates excess images if the user cancels out of the modal early or refreshes the page.

Potential Fixes

  • move the image upload to the Cloud on the final step of the modal when the item is actually submitted
  • download the image locally instead and use that for the preview
