Open class in new tab by default option

I don't think there's an option for this, so can you add an option to open classes in a new tab by default, because i usually just double click a class to open it, but then it takes over my current open class then, i know you can middle click a class to open it in a new tab, but im used to just double clicking a class, so could you please add an option for that?

I'd add my 5 cents -
also when you do a long project export + decompilation, clicking on any left-hand tree element just stops that process....
