Why would this take up 2 random buttons? That seems like a rather arbitrary control scheme for it, and not intuitive in any way. I'd suggest just having this as another item in the scroll wheel and clicking to "use" it would eat it. It could maybe require holding the button for a second or something (would need some form of animation).
