Saved farm files are stored with their current set of default values (either taken from the current Holos version or specified by the user), but when the farm is reloaded at the later date, the farm cannot be updated to the latest specifications (if they changed).
As it is assumed that lookup tables will be updated over time (and at a faster turnover than the algorithm document), it'd be good to have a button in the settings that updates all defaults to the current state (even though that means that users will have to re-apply their own specific values).
