As we develop, we've been adding unit tests to key areas of functionality.

We'd like to increase the coverage by adding more unit tests, particularly in the sanity toolkit and sanity app.

This is a good issue for anyone looking to contribute.

Testing is set up in most packages and apps, using vitest
