We have the Bin which in a nutshell, sends hackers pre-assembled, complete, documented components likely already on PCBs and hackers just put it together (almost like legos). But then there's OnBoard, flipping this and going far in the opposite direction and designing all the components, putting everything together individually on a schematic level.

The in-between for these two projects is getting everything individualized, on a breadboard or with wires and doing a test, right before designing a PCB. For example, instead of giving hacker a Relay Module like the one below.

We're just giving them, basically the BOM of that real module, so just the Relay, the capacitor, the resistor, the wire terminals, and they themselves are putting it together just like how you'd actually prototype making a PCB.

This stems from the idea of how I originally designed a WLED light show just with the standard modularized components on AliExpress but now I am taking everything and putting it into a PCB.
