Help! Stuck with ssh -Y ip_address

Hi,

This is not an issue but a comment asking for help.

I want to practice and learn through this genomics adventure course. I am new to command-line and Linux. I am using windows wsl.
I am currently stuck with "ssh -Y ip_address". Could you guide me on how to log in and access course files?

Hi SlowSD,

For working at home you should follow the instructions here. You will only need to use "ssh" if you are running the adventure remotely (on your own server) or at a workshop where it is being taught. The Home instructions will tell you how to acquire all the data and software ready to go on your local machine. I have not explicitly tested this on a Windows machine however, but the majority of tools should be available within the WSL.
