The guido engine does what it can for automatic layout. It was not originally designed for this. Nevertheless, it does a lot, but it obviously has limitations.
It seems to me that all the problems mentioned can be solved by using tag parameters.
We tried to adjust the slope, origin, ... of the slurs but it did give the expected results (see image 1).
In image 1 and 2 the beam from the last chord in the second staff gets also (weirdly) displayed in the second system line. There is no way to tackle this issue with tag parameters.
There are many problems in this music piece.
