I often use an online LateX editor (Overleaf) that comes with vim bindings.
The problem is that kV gets in the way of switching modes (i.e., I have to press ESC twice).
To get around this, I quit kV and re-start it when I am done working on Overleaf.
I understand that it is not possible to disable kV for a specific site (#180), but I wonder if it would make sense to have a menu item (+shortcut) to pause it or disable it for a given amount of time.

so i guess you're using the same browser for LateX and everything else, and it doesn't make sense to reserve one browser for that and add it to the Off Family right?
if no, then yeah i have to come up with something. i haven't yet coz that's gonna be a big chunk, and i need to think of what's the best way to do that. like some options to make kV back off on certain tab titles?
