Describe the bug:

There are actually 2 issues here. The main problem is advanced padding on columns breaks entirely in 3.1.0+ (on the front end) but if you go back to 3.0.4 which is the last version that works, the desktop browser settings never get applied. not a huge deal when compared to not being able to use the setting at all. but still an issue. also when you switch between view ports you have to click twice and it jumps all around (see video link).

TLDR; If you need to use advanced padding on columns the last version you can use is 3.0.4 and even still it's buggy as hell.

To reproduce:

  1. clean wp install
  2. install latest coblocks
  3. create new page
  4. add row with two columns
  5. insert lorem into both columns
  6. add background colors to both columns
  7. under padding click advanced and try to set different values (padding will adjust in the editor)
  8. publish and view front end
  9. view (padding not applied)
  10. revert coblocks to 3.0.4
  11. view front end (mobile and tablet padding will work but no matter how large your screen coblocks will use tablet padding)

Expected behavior:

advanced values should be allied for the correct view ports

Screenshots:

video
in the video, I first show that we are using version 4.0.3, then I show the padding settings for the different viewports (notice the control jumping around and needing to click it twice before it changes), then I show the tablet padding gets applied instead of desktop padding, I then upgrade to 3.1.0, refresh the page and the padding is removed.

Isolating the problem:

  • [ x ] This bug happens with no other plugins activated
  • [ x ] This bug happens with a default WordPress theme active
  • [ x ] This bug happens without the Gutenberg plugin active
  • [ x ] I can reproduce this bug consistently using the steps above

WordPress version:

I've tested in both 6.2.2 and 6.3

I think the bug still exists.
