Issues installing on Arm Mac, I wonder how hard this would be to make better?

I've got a work laptop that runs off of the Arm chip and I wanted to run this game in an Ubuntu VM. I'm unable to get the game running and wonder what everyone thinks the cause is.

I wish it worked as I could then share that ISO with my coworkers so they could play the game on their work machines. We've got tons of junior devs that would benefit from this fantastic game.
