First release of the Metadata Editor

Description of the proposal

This proposal aims at describing the contents of the first release of the Metadata Editor application.

This application has been as a Work In Progress for several months and is closing to its final state. Missing features which are currently worked on include:

• Spatial extent and spatial-enabled keywords
• Contacts both for the metadata and the resource
• Distributions as download links, service links
• Attachments and other links
• Topics and ISO categories
• Creation, update and publication dates both for metadata and resource
• Multingual fields support
• Duplicating records
• Deleting records
