Unfortunately I haven't. I didn't try too hard to fix it though, as I decided that I will just deal with it for the time being.
My suggestion would be to fork the repo and modify it. After quickly looking it looks like the predictions list is built in the file 'autocomplete_search.dart'. I would probably start there. It might be as simple as just adding some padding to the start of the list. Good luck, and please let me know if you fix it. Or maybe submit a pull request and the author can add the fix to a new official version
