Starting my emacs this morning, I see these messages:
Unable to activate package ‘org-pdftools’. Required package ‘pdf-tools-0.8’ is unavailable
Indeed, looking at my installed packages (freshly updated):
pdf-tools is a dependency package. Status: Installed in ‘pdf-tools-20220214.344/’ (unsigned). Version: 20220214.344 Commit: 326552eef71ae6d53e215c46be5bf532575b7abb Summary: Support library for PDF documents Requires: emacs-24.3, nadvice-0.3, tablist-1.0, let-alist-1.0.4 Required by: org-pdftools-20210118.1611 Homepage: http://github.com/vedang/pdf-tools/ Keywords: files multimedia Other versions: 20220125.1708 (installed), 0.90 (installed), 20220214.344 (melpa). So apparently org-pdftools is not in sync with melpa's pdf-tools.
