So now ember-cli-addon-docs is somewhat depreciated. Mentions of Storybook being a replacement but I don't know anything about it. Need to research what the best option will be here.

Now there is discussion on Discord from the Ember Learning Team about moving to something called field-guide. Not sure where to take this; move to field-guide, continue to wait for something to solidify, go back to a custom docs site.
