It would help to provide a list of codemeta samples that can be used to learn how these files should look like.

Is this related or the same to the issue #4 (Role of codemeta)? I was about to sign up to the issue #4, as we (ANDS) are exploring the integration of github and Research Data Australia.

Having a list of codemeta samples would be very helpful. That is the first thing we would like to find out. I recently did a mapping from CodeMeta schema to RIF-CS (that supports the Research Data Australia) based on our mapping from RIF-CS to Schema.org. We are discussing at ANDS to how far we should extend the RIF-CS vocabulary to accommodate those from CodeMeta.
