I believe I encountered the issue with matplotlib 3.7.1. That's the version I had apparently installed according to "conda list". Conda upgrade brought me up to 3.7.2, and I can confirm the issue persists there... |

So my Matplotlib 3.7.1 worked for this... so it looks like there is something more fishy with your conda then? |
