Welcome to the sage-flatsurf wiki!

We aim to develop a nice package for translation surfaces within Sage. We start slowly by creating a general class for conical surfaces together with a fancy editor... then we will go into more serious business...

Implemented:

  • Delaunay decomposition/triangulation for finite surfaces.

Wishlist:

  • L-infinity Delaunay decompositions.
  • Delaunay decompositions for infinite surfaces.
  • In place canonicalization of surfaces.
  • finding Veech group elements.
  • constructing mapping tori from pseudo-Anosov elements. (Some progress through integration with Mark Bell's Flipper)
  • computing saddle connections
