Does not happen in the RPM version. I need to use the flapak version to have access to FFMPEG output and because I just like having everything as a flatpak.

System info:

Kernel: 5.16.8-200.fc35.x86_64
DE: GNOME 41.3
WM: Mutter

I have a very similar experience, but I'm using Flatpak on Manjaro.

On my system I was able to fix the flicker by using prime-run org.blender.Blender to force-use my nvidia GPU.

OS: Manjaro
Kernel: 5.16.5-1-MANJARO
DE: GNOME 41.3
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce MX150 (video-hybrid-intel-nvidia-prime)
