as per #3394 this is "not an issue" for us - but this led backend-dev to oom. Many builds -> many python-daemon executed -> oom.

AI:

ask maintainers to update to fixed package version (3.0+) or for co-maintainer access

email sent, I also tried to ping them, this week I'll begin the inactive package maintainer process
