This version is kept pretty stable, change in the major number implies that a big feature os set of features was added. Change in the major version might also make incompatible API changes.
Minor version
This version number is used to signal a feature set. Change in the minor version should add functionality in a backwards compatible manner.
patch number
This version number states bug fixes patches

All versions up to the release of 1.0.0 are experimental and might contain incompatible API changes.
