Emuflight 0.4.0 is not supported

Running latest tool version but a Heliospring board with emuflight 0.4.0.

shows the error that is not supported.

Only 0.2.X was not supported. 0.4, 0.3 and 0.1 is supported.
If for some reason the IMUF is corrupt (Shows # IMU-F Version: 9999), then plug in and wait full 5 minutes for led blinks to change, then it will work.
otherwise, something else wrong.

I know that powering RX from USB is a known problem; helio guys usually power RX from the vbat rails rather than the edge-pads. but this is usually only a problem of flashing flight firmware, not IMUF.

The only other thing i can think of is if this is Windows 11, then potentially this is the cause.

Forgot to specify the OS, I'm using Windows 10.
About the IMUF there should not be the case, I added the output of version to show that.

it shows correctly as # IMU-F Version: 230
And I had just loaded fresh version of EmuFlight FW 0.4.0 and configurator.

Not sure if there is a newer version that 230 for the IMUF.

IMUF 256 is recommended for EmuFlight 0.4.0.
Unsure why you cannot connect.
Maybe need ImpulseRC driver fixer.

Not sure about driver, because I get correctly a COM port detected and I can connect to it.
Emuflight Configurator at least.

Just to test later today I'll try it again but using either Linux or a Mac. To see how it goes.

Was looking at this app code and the error string "THIS FIRMWARE IS NOT OFFICIALLY SUPPORTED" is not part of it.
Wonder if this is coming from EmuFlight due to the incompatibility with the IMUF fw version.

Sounds good, Linux or OSX will bypass any driver issues.
It just displays that message after failed connection. Not really accurate message IMHO.

edit: IMUF version should make no difference.
