Operations failing with 404 error

I got the version 1.0.0 source code for these examples and built it successfully. When I run the applications I am able to browse the AAS and submodels and also change property values but, when I try to execute any of the operations (e.g. Calculate operation) the browser pops up a message box containing a 404 error. Unfortunately, the message box won't let me copy and paste the message contents, so I can't paste the exact message here but I've uploaded a couple of screenshots instead.
I tried putting a break point in the operation handler but, unfortunately, it is never reached. No exceptions are thrown and the error is not logged in the output window either. Any suggestions? Am I missing something?
