Either we fix these, or we bump the minimum needed R version to 4.0 across the ecosystem.

I prefer the latter.

We are no longer testing on R 3.6 in CI, so it's up to you what you wish to do: either bump the needed R version to R 4.0, or Ostrich algorithm 😉
