Public IP for DDS routers behind DNAT #363

Hi, I successfully run my setup over the Internet. Everything work fine if I specify my proxy public IP address in the DDS router configuration. I would like to use a more generic configuration like this :

Why would it be a problem to manually specify your IP address? I can only think of the case where your public IP is dynamic, in which case I suggest using a DNS server (there are many options available for free) so it is possible to specify it through the Even if we were able to implement a mechanism to automatically deduce the public IP from within the server host itself, getting this information from the clients (most likely other hosts) seems rather challenging at the moment.
