How to create the brisk_cover.pdf file (just front page) from cover.svg:

  1. Copy cover.svg to cover_front.svg.
  2. Open cover_front.svg in Inkscape.
  3. Open layers panel, and click on "Front".
  4. "Edit" > "Select All".
  5. "File" > "Document Properties..."
  6. "Resize page to drawing or selection."
  7. Manually change height back to 234.95 mm.
  8. "File" > "Save As..." brisk_cover.pdf.
  9. Fearlessly close Inkscape without saving the .svg.
